The designs are to be sent to the Colonial Secretary, signed by the author under a "nom de jeune" and endorsed on cover, Blake Pier Clock Tower Competition, before the 30th April, 1901.
The decision as to the best design received will be decided by, and approved by His Excellency the Governor with or without professional assistance as His Excellency may deem desirable.
Particulars:
The Tower to be erected in the centre of the base of Blake Pier is to be at least 120 feet high, to contain in the base a ladies waiting room at one side, and a gentlemen's water closet and urinal at the other. The roof to extend over the first two risers of steps at each side of the Pier.
Accommodation is to be provided in the Tower for the Clock of the existing...
